Indeed it is. He snapped that one off the ebays about 4 years ago. Was very moderately used nat gas model from a jap restaurant...retails new around 7K....he was the only bid at $999. Makes very fine set it and forget it butts, loins, and select beef cuts.

Our good friend's 100 acre mountain top in northern WV. Pastoral meadows, deep woods with all sorts of critters, and a cement pond!

It's 93º here at 6 p.m. There's supposed to be a break in the weather this weekend. Glad of it, as we will be outside at the Forecastle Festival in Louisville the next three days.

Paul Rodgers is playing our 4th Fireworks show.

We get Still Smokin', Jalan Crossland Band, and Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights.

Weather permitting, I will be there.

We have a bunch of unknown to me local and regional country bands playing before the fireworks downtown. Oh, and local girl made good on Broadway, and now in Nashville, Laura Bell Bundy.

We are making out own party, in honor of Alison's upcoming 40th birthday. It will be held at a gallery on the other end of downtown. We have a local ska band playing, lots of food and beer, and friends.

And we wil have a pretty good view of the fireworks after dark.
